If it's the case that you're printing to the default printer for
cs27.mit.edu (where you sent the bug report from) then that's actually
a queue on a private print server, not maintained by Athena directly.

The print server sicp-s2.mit.edu maintained by Myron Freeman
<fletch1@eecs.mit.edu>, according to our records; it seems to serve
an lprng load-balancing print queue. I'd guess that sending your bug
report to him would be most appropriate.

If you need a temporary work-around, I'd recommend 'enscript' to generate
postscript from your text file, and of course, if my assumption about
this only being a problem on the sicp print queues is incorrect, to let
us know and I'll look into it further.
