What were you trying to do?
Using the new Maple 9.0 feature, the interactive ODE solver:
> dsolve[interactive](diff(y(x),x) = 0);
What's wrong:
I get this error message on Maple 9:
Error, (in ParseString) Could not communicate with external JVM
And this one in the console:
ld.so.1: /mit/maple_v9.0/distrib/bin.SUN_SPARC_SOLARIS/mjava: fatal: libjvm.so: open failed: No such file or directory
What should have happened:
The new "Maplet" ODE solver should appear.
