Can we please install an rndc keyfile such that rndc can be used to
control named?
At the moment, rndc is useless because of the lack of an
rndc.key; further, bind9 has removed the signal controls that used
to exist to turn on query logging and dumping the cache.
Yonah encountered some strangeness with named on a 9.2.15 linux
machine, where he first noticed he could not resolve www.google.com.
I did some digging and found some strangeness I cannot explain (lack
of A records for google's nameservers, no root nameservers in the
cache other than J, etc.). I then foolishly perturbed the state;
anyhow, I was going to dump the database and soforth and found I
couldnt...it kind of sucks.
