The way the error message was stated it sounds more like it's coming from
a library... so the proper way to fix it would be to rebuild Netscape sure.
But one could also remove whatever new check in the lib was triggered.
Another option would be to clobber STDERR, or grep out the error from STDERR
in /usr/athena/bin/netscape

I see that we're still using nmh 1.0 though, which is known to have
bugs and holes (one bug in particular I've been unable to prod them
to fix is commands such as the following are ill-behaved;
