This has been happening every now and then:
<rfrench at kaz> {/mit/rfrench}
5% xhost paris
paris being added to access control list
xhost: must be on local machine to add or remove hosts.
<rfrench at kaz> {/mit/rfrench}
6% echo $DISPLAY
unix:0.0
<rfrench at kaz> {/mit/rfrench}
7% xhost paris
paris being added to access control list
Notice the "must be on local machine" error. It pops up randomly and
does not seem to be easily reproduced. Usually the xhost succeeds the
second time.
