sshd log messages lacking in information

These messages showed up on my console window while I was away:
18:52 May 27 18:52:09 all-in-one sshd[14444]: fatal: Login denied: You are not allowed to log into this machine
12:56 May 28 12:56:01 all-in-one sshd[19322]: fatal: Login denied: You are not allowed to log into this machine
I wouldn't mind knowing where the connections came from, and who they
tried to log in as....
Nothing else is stored in /var/log for around the time of the second
message, aside from some standard cron job invocations.
