From: <geer@ATHENA.MIT.EDU> Date: Wed, 3 May 89 09:31:50 EDT To: bugs@ATHENA.MIT.EDU if a pick operation within xmh produces a very long result, the file ~/.mh_sequences is no longer useable by xmh - i.e. most operations involving sequences will now fail like this: repl: /mit/geer/Mail/inbox/.mh_sequences is poorly formatted where ``poorly formatted'' means that a line in the file is too damned long. only problem is that the line was produced by a legitimate user action. exiting xmh and applying emacs to the problem is the only symptomatic cure. though this is reported for 6.2A RTPC platforms, i imagine the problem is pandemic. --dan
