Actually, the links "X11" and "X" are intentionally pointing to "X11R2".
The rational is that these links should be pointing to the
sources/libraries/binaries that are associated with the current release
out "in-the-field". When the workstations are all running X11R3, I
shall change the link. However, as it stands, we are still building
X11R3, so what is in the locker is not even the final form that will be
distributed (the final form will be placed in the locker shortly, since
the X11R3 build is almost done).
