What were you trying to do?
Check spelling of messages as they are being composed.
What's wrong:
Spelling isn't checked. From the Ximian support site, this
should be automatic provided gnome-spell is installed and
configured, which I suppose it isn't.
What should have happened:
Spelling should be checked, highlighting spelling errors
in the document. Note that Pine and exmh both have
functioning spell checkers (although Pine's needs to
be invoked explicitly via Control-T).
