System name: sunnuva.mit.edu
Type and version:	i686 9.1.13 (with mkserv)
Display type:

Shell: /bin/sh (/bin/athena/tcsh?)
Window manager: fvwm2

What were you trying to do?
Login as root into a virtual console of my machine

What's wrong:
It wouldn't accept the cluster nor the password
I gave it as passwd, until I first logged in as foley
	then used "su"

What should have happened:
It should have let me login as root
What appears to have happened is that the "md5" option
	was selected in /etc/pam.d/system-auth's section
on pam_unix. If you remove the option, on the old
version everything would be fixed. This appears to not be the case
	this time
