       Hi guys,

This is an update on the problem you reported installing IBM
Intellistations earlier today. The problem was one that was somewhat
known, although we'd hoped to have a fix out before you began installing
the machines in bulk; that obviously didn't work out as planned.

The problem was a result of the install floppy using a network
driver that appears to hang on busy networks; we hadn't noticed this in
W92 because the network there is switched. Andrew Boardman and I worked
on a new install floppy this evening which has passed some testing (it
successfully installed SIPB's new IBM, for example), but we'd like to do
a bit more testing before releasing it to you. With any luck, we should
have something ready for you tomorrow.

I suspect this is an unrelated issue; the last I heard from Juan
about it, he had mage progress, but if the machine still isn't
installable, that's something we can look at eventually, although since
the GX150 tower isn't cluster hardware or anything we've ever advertised
as fully supported, it's a lower priority than getting the
Intellistations installing correctly on all networks. If it's possible
for you to bring the GX150 tower to w92, that would be appreciated;
getting it in the building will be a big help towards having someone
look at it promptly.

Expect another update from Andrew or I tomorrow, and let us know
if you have any questions.

Garry
