What were you trying to do?
Type in gnome-terminal immediately after logging in.
What's wrong:
Immediately after logging in, my cursor is placed over
the initial default gnome-terminal window. However,
the window does not have focus, and I can't type in
it. When I move the mouse out of and back in the window,
it gets focus and I can type. In the Gnome control
center under "Focus behavior," I have these selections:
When does the mouse pointer affect the input focus: enter-only
Focus on application windows when they first appear.: checked
Dialog windows inherit the focus from their parent.: checked
Raise windows when they are focused.: unchecked
By the way, this also happens on Linux with Athena 9.0 and
9.1.
What should have happened:
The terminal window should have focus right away and be ready
for input.
