Hi,
Thanks for letting us know about this. The problem turns out to
be a bug in the Solaris implementation of getaddrinfo(), where it will
return EAI_ADDRFAMILY under circumstances when it should return
EAI_NONAME.
This is apparently known by Sun and documented in Sun bug id
4533523, but there doesn't appear to be a patch available yet. We'll
keep an eye on this and apply the patch to the Athena release when it
becomes available.
