I've installed a new version of gs which does not use /dev/random on
Solaris, since it seems to have some problems (especially on the
dialups if it can't keep up with the demand for entropy (it's not as
weird as it sounds!)).

Since gs 7.03 fixes a problem that affected latex, if this fix proves
satisfactory I'd like to keep the new version.
