Could you please be more specific than "doesn't work"; lpd does not
run on any Athena workstations by default, and it isn't necessary to the
functioning of dvips or distill. I was just able to use "dvips -Ppdf"
on one of the dialups without difficulty.
If you're having difficulty using dvips or distill, you may want to
ask OLC for assistance.
