What were you trying to do?
Read the screen
What's wrong:
Text in both the console window and the gnome terminal
window become gibberish when scrolled until 'xreset' is executed.
This is trivially reproducible.
It also effects menu bars of programs in a nonreproducible
fashion.
Windowgram zephyrs if moved and dropped while the mouse
is still in motion can be dropped simply as the box outline of
the window minus any of the text.
In short, this patch of the XF86_SVGA server seems to be
really buggy.
