According to someone from comp.sys.sun.hardware, there's a bug in
the Blade-100's openboot which causes the timing problem:

| The clock is pretty accurate (in terms of drift), it's just that the
| frequency is off a bit from what OpenBoot claims it should be. So if the
| frequency property in the root node of the device tree was accurate -or- the
| kernel calibrated the stick frequency during boot (which is what the patch
| fixes just like all of the other Ultra platforms) then clock accuracy is no
| longer a problem.  ...

I suspect we should just wait for the relevant Sun patch to come out..
