Assuming I remember the correct problem (we have a slew of plugin-related
problems on SGI's), this is because the Flash plugin is dependent on a
different set of standard libraries; this problem began when SGI changed
the format of its library dependencies a while back. (I'm not an SGI whiz,
so forgive my vagueness. N32 vs O32 conflict.)

This is broken, in other words, not just for Athena but for all SGIs
anywhere later than a certain IRIX version. I have written Macromedia a
couple of times to bring this to their attention. No response yet.
