browse www.ticketmaster.com in netscape 4.75
What's wrong:
The screen started having visual anomalies, where
pixmaps and fonts seemed to be drawn on top of each
other. An "xrefresh" would fix it, but it would
quickly confuse itself again.
After about 3 minutes of this behavior, the machine
hung hard, necessitating a power cycle.
What should have happened:
Presumably the X server crashed and took the machine with it.
This shouldn't happen. ;-)
