Hi.
I have checked in changes which install GNU diff for Solaris, and
configure rcs to use it instead of the native diff. This should make
it into the 9.0 release.
Incidentally, the problem with the Solaris diff is that it exits with
a status code of 2 when it detects difference between binary files;
it should exit with status 1 in that case.
