It doesn't for me. Most likely the 0 is coming from some dotfile in
your homedir because sourced by /usr/athena/lib/init/bashrc.
If you run "sh -x /usr/athena/lib/init/bashrc" and look for the 0
character, can you figure out what command is causing it?
