What were you trying to do?
User was trying to print to PDF from FrameMaker.
What's wrong:
FrameMaker invokes 'distill'. Distiller then prints
a paragraph about compatibility and refuses to
proceed until the user answers a question. distill
has no controlling tty, so the user can't answer.
The paragraph of text says "If you don't want this to
appear, you should add an option to your configuration
file." It fails to mention either the configuration file
name, nor the option.
What should have happened:
It shouldn't ask the question more than once. Really,
it shouldn't ask the question at all. And it shouldn't
be fucking encrypted so I can't strings the binary!
