What were you trying to do?
Go to singleuser mode "telinit 1"
What's wrong:
AFS failed to shutdown. This is weird since there is a
/etc/rc.d/rc1.d/K20afs
that works if you run it manually with "stop"
What should have happened:
AFS should have been stopped by init
