Okay. It's obvious that something new has broken; I've
gotten four reports of this error 255 problem today.
Netscape-movemail never did work fantastically, but this error 255 is a
very real and unexpected thing - in the past it has only occurred when the
user's mail could not be inc'd for whatever reason (no quota, unable to
open the spool, etc).
I am currently changing versions from 4.6 to 4.7x for infoagents netscape,
and some things are temporarily broken as a result of that shift, but I
don't see how netscape-movemail could break that way. So I am inclined to
suspect the Athena version - all reportees have been 8.4.8. But I don't
see how that could break it either. Any thoughts from the Athena gurus?

After hitting ok, and trying again, I get a window saying bookmarks have changed. Save changes. No matter what option I hit, I have my screen fill up with a new window. The console says: netscape: X Error of failed request:BadMatch (invalid parameter atttributes), etc. When I logout and login, I still have mail waiting for me.
