We have, in fact, implemented a fix for your problme in Athena 8.4,
which is scheduled to be released in about a month. However, due to
the nature of the Athena 8.3 release for linux, the linux machines in
the w20 cluster will probably be upgraded to 8.4 before it is released
(probably later this week).
