Athena users attempting to log in on virutal consoles 1-6 fail to have
their homedirectories added, and appear to fail to get Kerberos
tickets and AFS tokens. $PATH gets set to
/usr/local/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin. Also, terminal settings
end up being very bad. (Usually it offers to emulate vt100 by
default.)
Local users log in OK and Athena users logging in on VC 7 (under X
Windows) log in OK.
This started happening after the first reboot after running the
'fixkrb' script, which apparently installed the 8.3.31 packages.
