A few weeks ago you reported the following problem:
Hello, as you may know v3 and early v4 browsers shipped with root certificates
that expired in 2000. I'm pretty sure there are newer versions or patches to
remedy this. It would be good to maintain the existing software in
infoagents, or remove it. However, I'd advise against removing NN v3 because
many people still use it. I personally use it to check for compatibility...
Another method might be to provide a message (one-time only?) upon usage
stating the problem...
The ensuing discussion explained why this is hard for us to fix and
unlikely to get fixed by Netscape. Given these facts I just wanted to
let you know that I'm closing your bug report as a known problem that
we don't expect to ever fix.
