What were you trying to do?
I'm the TA for 10.551 and when I've put together a web page, the pdf documents
cause netscape to crash. Load the pdf files for 10.551 at
http://web.mit.edu/10.551/www/handouts.html
What's wrong:
The version of netscape crashes when the acrobat plug-in loads. I've
set up netscape with the acroread plug-in on HP-UX and I can load the view
the files with no problem. It is a known bug documented by netscape.
What should have happened:
The pdf files should load without netscape crashing.
