Hi,
I thought I'd toss this issue your way in case you had some insight.
When installing the new release of mink 9-20-99, I found that when I asked
it to search the entire disk for duplicate copies of files, the installer
actually went in and erased a number of files that it had just copied to
the Program Files\Kerboeros directory. Of course it asked me first before
deleting them, but I don't know any better.
When I rebooted, I was able to get kerb 5 tickets fine, but no dice with
kerb 4, or with any application that try to call kerb 4 tickets (the apps
would complain of missing dll's).
When I ran the installer and had it search only the "Path" (not the entire
disk), it didn't remove any files and installed and then ran just fine.
Any insight?
Also, trying to run SAP on the machine I just installed mink on gives me an
access violation error - ran fine before the new mink, and I have
reinstalled both mink and SAPgui to no avail. Do you know of any conflict
or incompatibility between the new mink and SAP?
Thanks for your help.
