I'm aware. Note, however:
o I didn't specify that the bug was in /bin/mail as opposed to
sendmail; I merely provided detail as to how the problem could be
reproduced.
o `env MANPATH= man mail' clearly documents that my attempted actions
matched my expectations, and that the implementation does not.
