This turned out to be a result of an error in the preferences settings. I
think.
It IS a pain to try to add the rvplayer settings by hand, especially since
they're slightly different from the old set of raplayer settings. I'm
trying to figure out a way to get some better control over ways to update
various "groups" of netscape settings to the global defaults. If you run
netscape-fix it'll give you the correct rvplayer settings, but it'll
change a lot of other things as well.
