System name: sweet-transvestite.mit.edu
Type and version: Ultra-5_10 8.3.10 (with mkserv)
(this also happens on 8.3.13 machines)
Display type: ffb
Shell: /bin/athena/tcsh
What were you trying to do?
Read mail with nmh.
What's wrong:
The message is plain text, but has headers:
Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain
Content-Transfer-Encoding: x-unknown
X-Mailer: Balsa 0.4.9
Instead of just showing it to me, show prints the header, then:
mhshow: don't know how to decode content
(content text/plain in message 365)
and nothing else.
What should have happened:
On a machine with mh rather than nmh, the entire message is readable.
(the content is in fact readable text)
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
Here's stuff that might be relevant from my .mh_profile:
showproc: more
Let me know if the mail message in question is useful in debugging
this.
