"bind" has been listed as deprecated in the tcsh man page for as long
as I've been using tcsh. Apparently the backward compatibility went
away in tcsh 6.08. You need to use "bindkey" instead. (Check the man
page; it's nearly identical. I'm not sure what advantage came from
changing the syntax.)
We'll add something to the default dotfiles to warn users about this.
