This is because of a change in the mailhub configuration.

Postmaster is aware of the problem, but I don't know if they've made a
decision about what to do yet. (This new behavior is the default for
new versions of sendmail, and is something many people at MIT have
been asking for for a long time, so that list administrators will find
out when addresses on their mailing lists have gone away and can
remove them, rather than having the senders get the bounce messages
when there's nothing they can do about them.)

If you have concerns about it, you should follow them up with
postmaster.
