A brief synopsis of the problem:

The MIT Archive specifications require that the copyright on the
titlepage be followed by a sentence granting priveledges to MIT if the
copyright owner is the author. The MITThesis doesn't do anything
about this. I mananged to hack the mitfor.lib file to put it in, but
it really ought to be in the Athena copy!

The MIT Archives, next to Hayden Library, publishes a pamphlet
titled "Specifications for Thesis Preparation". Latest revision is
1988.

For reference, the file with the missing clause is:
	/usr/athena/lib/scribe/thesis/mitfor.lib
