I believe the tek mode bug lies not with the xterm, which works fine
on John Kohl's gpx, but rather in the display server for monochrome
monitors. I got a 5.5T binary which worked fine on a gpx under 5.5T,
but it illegal-instruction-core-dumps when I use it on a monochrome
vs2000 under 6.0R. I believe this was an R2 xterm. When I started it
with -t, it just died. when I selected the tek window showing option,
it put the window up, but died when I tried to change to it.

I got no response from my first report of this bug, and I need a
working tek xterm to do the work I'm doing in IAP, which is fast
disappearing. If Athena cannot come up with a working one in the next
few days, please at least tell me that, so I can tell my advisor and
we can find something else for me to do.
