What were you trying to do?
Keep an open SSH connection with Athena from my
home PC using the F-Secure software sold by Datafellows.
What's wrong:
I get 'timed-out' very quickly, somewhere between
1.5 and 2 minutes.
What should have happened:
Unless there is a good reason why SSH is different,
I would expect the timeout to be the same as with regular
telnet (i.e. 90 minutes for athena.dialup, 15 minutes on
express when there are more than 20 users).
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
On the support section of the Datafellows webpage,
they describe a change that can be made to 'sshd_config'
