A brief synopsis of the problem:
I have seen the notice that the network has been checked. However so
far the path between the worksations and 'HERA' and '3.064' lockers is
still very shaky. I tried to cp -r from 3.064 to /tmp; some strange things
show up in one of the files copied (without any warning)
