What were you trying to do?
forw -nodashmunging
on a file with a "-" in column 1.
What's wrong:
It was no different than doing a "forw". Meaning, it changed the line
to "- -"
What should have happened:
It should have left the line as is.

The man page for forw states:
To avoid prepending the leading dash characters in forwarded
messages, there is a `-nodashmunging' option. See the "Hid-
den Features" section of the MH Administrator's Guide for
more details.
It's also described in "MH & xmh: E-mail for Users & Programmers"
