What were you trying to do?
use /usr/athena/bin/ftp to put a file to an ftp server
running on my NT machine
What's wrong:
once the transfer is almost finished, the ftp client
hangs without closing the file. this only happens
with the athena ftp client, not the vendor ftp client.
it doesn't seem to matter if the transfer is ascii or
binary.
What should have happened:
the file transfer should have completed.
