According to process accounting, syslogd is dying on signal 16
(SIGUSR1) at the same time newsyslog runs.

The weird things are:

  1) newsyslog should never send a SIGUSR1 with our config files

  2) Solaris syslogd doesn't die when you send it a SIGUSR1

From looking at the Solaris syslogd source, there might be race
conditions where sending a SIGHUP and then another well-timed signal
after that would kill it. But I can't see how newsyslog would end up
sending two signals either.
