This problem certainly is not universal to all telnet sessions to
Athena 8.2 suns; I telnet to small-gods all the time and never see
this problem. Moreover, this kind of problem is usually attributable
to bugs in the client, not in the server. Please let me know what the
client platform is where you see this problem.
