What were you trying to do?
read multiple gziped files
What's wrong:
wheras it's fine when used separately on each file, when more
than one file, is given as arguments, the error "Bad file number"
is returned
What should have happened:
both files should have been unziped and printed to stdout
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
- the man page claims that any other number of files should
be fine.
- the copy of zcat in /mit/sipb/arch/sgi_63/bin/zcat works fine
