observed behavior: sends, forwards and resolves would take upwards of
a minute. then, olcd would come back and be happy for things such
as queue listings and replays. it would again pause for long stretches
on subsequent sends, forwards and resolves. weird. i just restarted
olcd, not sure if that fixed it yet, though. the process did not seem
to be behaving strangely or taking up a lot of resources:
1208 root 33 0 2512K 1864K sleep 97:45 0.18% 0.10% olcd
gcore file is in /core.olcd.5.29.1998.hanging
it wasn't really broken. it just seemed very tired.
