What were you trying to do?
Export a drawing as .3ds to an afs directory
What's wrong:
No output (.3ds file) is produced, no errors are generated
When you specify a local dir, e.g. /var/tmp; the .3ds is
generated fine--not much of a problem, but a nuisance
What should have happened:
You should be able to write your output 3ds to any directory you
can usually write to
