I was going to suggest 'set skip_sgi' in the .environment file, but upon
trying that, I see that although it creates much less in the way of SGI
spam, you'll still end up with a .desktop_indy directory.
Apparently the SGI needs its 'athenahosts' directory under .desktop_indy
to be present, whether you ignore its desktop decor or not. Anybody more
knowledgeable want to confirm or deny that? I'm curious too, now.
