What were you trying to do?
show someone xcalc.
What went wrong?
xcalc came up with obviously bad widget layout. In particular, the
window was initially 74x46 (much too small), and pretty impossible
to use, since the `totals' widget was on top of all the others. I
used `xrdb -remove' and `xrdb -query' to verify that it wasn't a
problem with my resources.
