What were you trying to do?
Idling... (I wasn't logged in)
What's wrong:
This is a dual display sun.
The problem is that the reactivate/dm restart (and the screensaver for xlogin)
burped in some strange manner and spawned X 's all over the place. No xlogin
was shown on the display. Typing ctl-p did not give me a console login.
After loggin in to another machine,
Manually killing off the X's, I tried HUPing the dm, then killing it.
Nothing seemed to change on the display. At that point, I just rebooted it.
What should have happened:
It should have had a happy little Xlogin showing on one of the displays
and there shouldn't have been all those X's all over the place.
