Three sgi systems in 4-035 displayed this problem. They are all
4600-XZ systems, recently upgraded to 128M memory.
The systems had about a centimeter wide blue line at the bottom of the
monitor. Pressing the normal boot button did NOT cause anything to
happen.
Rebooting with the small "hard boot" button worked. No evident problem
coming up.
We contacted one of the last users, and they were using xmh when the
system failed.
Apparently this problem has also been seen in Rotch Library, where people
thought it was associated with frame.
