htmlview also has the benefit that it will not proliferate browsers,
which is why we originally moved to it and away from invoking specific
browsers.

I think the real bug report here is that Mosaic doesn't handle
certificates.

While the new requirement of using certificates currently forces all
websis work to go through netscape, this is probably a temporary
situation. I know that there are people looking at adding certificate
support to other browsers.

Thank you for the suggestion of having dash invoke netscape. This
may indeed be the best temporary workaround, although I would prefer
something that doesn't multiply browsers.

:) What were you trying to do?
:) See if the dash entry for WebSIS works
:)
:) What's wrong:
:) It didn't work properly. It uses htmlview, which will try
:) to start Mosaic if it can't load Netscape, which is silly
:) in this situation. In addition, if it loads Netscape
:) successfully but then Netscape crashes it will then bring
:) up Mosaic anyway.
:)
:) What should have happened:
:) Dash should just run Netscape to get to WebSIS.
